What do you need to buy to make your Freshers and Hall experience the best it can be?
First Year Subs
This Hall sub is for students who are in their first year at Loughborough University and would like to take part in hall-based activities throughout the academic year in their hall of residence. This could be as a first year undergraduate, a first-year postgraduate (taught or research) student wishing to participate in the hall-based Freshers programme or a foundation student.
Single Semester Subs
Our Single Semester packages are for students who are studying at Loughborough for a single semester only and would like to take part in hall-based activities throughout the academic year in their hall of residence. This could be part of an ERASMUS Programme or through the single semester study offered by our partners OnCampus.
Returner Subs
This hall sub is for students who are returning to live in CP next academic year and would like to take part in hall-based activities throughout the academic year in their hall of residence. This is primarily for students in their second, third and fourth years of undergraduate study, as well as those on postgraduate (taught and research) programmes (not wishing to participate in the hall-based Freshers programme).
At Loughborough as part of our Freshers week, we offer activities in halls of residence as well as activities provided by LSU. This subs covers the hall-based activities that are provided as part of the Hall’s Freshers (Welcome) week. Please note this fee does not include entry to Students’ Union events and these should be purchased separately.
A contribution to our Winter and Summer Hall Balls Tickets as well as Hall Day (typically held during term 3). (Please note this is a contribution and your hall may charge an additional amount for your hall ball.)
Take part in Rag raids, Action projects, join IMS sports teams, and enjoy our social events at any point in the year.
Access to our Hall-based ‘Refreshers’ activities, these are social activities following the conclusion of January examinations typically at the end of January/beginning of February.​

Includes our exclusive Freshers' pack when joining the hall, including your Fresher Tops.

For Students arriving in Semester one (September/October start), access to our hall-based Freshers activities is also included.
For students arriving in Semester Two (January/February start), this does not include a charge for the hall-based Freshers activities.
